The 2015 Pouilly-Fuissé Terroirs de V… Is a blend of two Vergisson plots in les Crays and les Vignes Dessus, matured in 25% new oak for nine months without bâtonnage. (Incidentally, the “V” is for Vergisson as the authorities forbade the use of a village name on the front label, though you will find it on the back!) It has a lovely bouquet, quite floral with white and yellow flower scents infusing the citrus fruit. The palate is well balanced, taut at the moment with good depth. There is plenty of energy here with a pinch of spice towards the finish lending another dimension. Superb.
