The 2015 Jean Faure has a Merlot-driven, slightly warm bouquet that needs a little more delineation to come through by the time of bottling. The palate is medium-bodied with quite a lot of new oak to be subsumed, but there is good depth here with attractive delineation on the finish. It needs more finesse, but it could well deliver at the top of my expectations once in bottle.
