Ex-chateau bottle tasted blind in Sauternes. The Filhot 2003 is very simple and dare I say, rather one-dimensional on the nose that lacks vigor. The palate is predictably rather flat on the entry and it desperately needs more acidity on the slightly acetic finish. This just seems a little out of sorts at ten years of age. Tasted April 2013
